INTERNATIONAL Marina Development and Management was established to concentrate on the acquisition, development and management of high quality marina properties in Australia and across the world.

The group was formed in June 2008 and rapidly acquired Townsville's Breakwater Marina, the Townsville Future Development Area and Hope Harbour Marina in the northern suburbs of the Gold Coast in Queensland.

The emerging international marina company is backed by a team boasting extensive experience in the development industry, a team which was instrumental in the creation of the Hope Island Canal on the North Shore of Australia’s Gold Coast.

IMDM is wholly owned by interests associated with Queensland businessman Craig Gore.

The Australian-based company is now building an international reach with offices in the United Kingdom.

The company’s business model has already attracted international financial backing through UK financier Lord Michael Ashcroft.

IMDM is now looking for further possible acquisitions in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Europe and Asia.

Mr Gore founded the Atkinson Gore Group in 1996, which has grown to represent $1 billion of ongoing projects. AGG is the principal entity representing a diversified group of companies that specialise in property development, financial services, civil engineering and earthmoving, construction, architectural design, interior furbishment, motor sport, agriculture, aviation charter and development industry supplies.
